Role description
The Salesforce Field Service Lightning FSL Technical Lead will lead the technical design development and delivery of endtoend Field Service solutions on the Salesforce platform This role requires strong handson expertise in FSL Salesforce development complex schedulingdispatch models and integrations with enterprise systems such as ERP and IoT platforms
Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership Architecture
Own technical architecture and solution design for Salesforce FSL implementations
Act as technical SME for Field Service Lightning features and best practices
Lead development teams conduct code reviews and design reviews
Define development standards release strategy and deployment plans
Field Service Lightning Implementation
Configure and customize
Work Orders Work Order Line Items
Service Appointments Scheduling Policies
Operating Hours Service Territories and Resources
Skillsbased and rulebased dispatch
Implement mobile workforce solutions using Salesforce Field Service Mobile App
Design offlinefirst mobile experiences for technicians
Implement preventive corrective and breakfix service flows
Salesforce Development
Handson development using
Apex Triggers Batch Queueable
Lightning Web Components LWC
Salesforce Flows RecordTriggered Screen Flows
Build scalable automation while respecting FSL performance limits
Optimize largevolume data processing for Work Orders and Appointments
Integration Data Management
Design and deliver integrations with
ERP systems SAP Oracle etc
Inventory Parts and Asset systems
Use RESTSOAP APIs and middleware MuleSoft Boomi Dell Boomi etc
Lead data migration for Work Orders Assets Products and Installed Base
Ensure data integrity across scheduling dispatch and mobile execution
Collaboration Delivery
Work closely with
Product Owners Business Stakeholders
Functional Consultants Architects
QA DevOps and Release teams
Participate in estimation sprint planning and backlog grooming
Support UAT golive hypercare and postproduction stabilization
Required Skills Qualifications
Core Salesforce Skills
8 years of Salesforce platform experience
3 years of handson Salesforce Field Service Lightning FSL experience
Strong knowledge of
Apex LWC SOQL Flows
Salesforce security model and data sharing
Experience with Salesforce Governor Limits and performance tuning
FSL Domain Expertise
Deep understanding of
Field Service data model
Scheduling Optimization Dispatch Console
Mobile workforce enablement
Experience designing complex scheduling policies and business rules
Knowledge of service operations and technician workflows
Nice to Have
Salesforce Certifications
Salesforce Field Service Lightning Accredited Professional
Platform Developer I II
Salesforce Integration Architecture Designer
Experience with
Experience Cloud Partner Technician Portals
IoT Connected Assets or Predictive Maintenance
