Job Description
- Possess solid knowledge in SAP TM Master Data including Business Partner, Dangerous Goods transportation network such as Locations, Routes, Zones and resources vehicles, Trailers, HU etc
- Hands on experience in OTR (order based) & DTR (delivery based) processes, including Selection, planning profiles, Condition’s optimizer planning and scheduling, Freight Execution Carrier selection, Tendering and cost distribution.
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP TM Charge Management includes Rate Tables, Scales, Calculation Sheets, Freight Agreements
- Strong hands-on experience integrating SAP TM with other areas such as SAP EWM, Freight Collaboration, SAP LBN, Project 44 and other third-party software such as PC Miler, SMC3 etc
- Must have good communication skills and be able to translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
- Translate business requirements into system scope, solution architecture, and functional designs
- Manage end-to-end delivery across all phases, including analysis, design, configuration, testing, deployment, and support
- Oversee complex TMS configurations and drive ongoing system enhancements
- Lead project execution, ensuring effective management of scope, timelines, risks, resources, and deliverables
- Serve as both technical and functional lead for cross-functional and matrixed teams
- Mentor development teams and promote consistent application of development standards and methodologies
- Document key processes, milestones, and solution designs to ensure knowledge continuity
- Enable and educate stakeholders on TMS workflows, business processes, and reporting capabilities
- Ensure all solutions align with long-term IT strategy and industry best practices
- Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver business value
- Demonstrate agility in adapting to shifting priorities, timelines, and ambiguous requirements
- Travel as required to support operations at distribution centers and manufacturing plants
- Apply Agile methodologies and leverage tools such as Azure DevOps and MS Project to manage delivery
Qualifications
Requires a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Requires at least 5 years related experience.
Demonstrates strong technical knowledge of ERP systems and other application systems, equipment capacity, limitations and operation time. Strong knowledge of specific SAP modules such as Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) or Transportation Management and Logistics (TMS). String knowledge of relational database concepts, client-server concepts. Must be able to communicate effectively with both end users and IT staff, as well as business management. Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills.
