Clean Core principles.
Job Description
The role involves designing and developing
OData V2/V4 services using the ABAP RAP framework to connect SAP S/4HANA backends with modern frontend applications. The candidate will model transactional business objects using Behavior Definitions and Behavior Implementations, including CRUD operations, actions, and determinations.
The position requires strong experience in
ABAP Core Data Services (CDS) for complex data modeling, including annotations supporting UI, search, and analytical capabilities for Fiori Elements applications. The candidate will also apply ABAP Cloud principles for side-by-side and developer extensibility on the SAP BTP ABAP Environment.
The role includes implementing business events and asynchronous communication patterns, consuming external APIs, and supporting hybrid workflows across SAP and non-SAP landscapes.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop enterprise-grade OData V2/V4 services using the ABAP RAP framework.
- Define and implement business objects using Behavior Definitions (BDEF) and Behavior Implementations (BP).
- Develop managed and unmanaged transactional logic, including CRUD operations, actions, and determinations.
- Build complex data models using ABAP CDS, including relevant UI, search, and analytical annotations.
- Develop solutions using ABAP Cloud and Clean Core principles on the SAP BTP ABAP Environment.
- Implement side-by-side and developer extensibility solutions while maintaining an upgrade-stable digital core.
- Implement business events, asynchronous communication, and external API integrations.
- Support hybrid integration workflows across SAP and non-SAP environments.
