Role Summary
We are seeking a Senior SolidWorks Designer to lead the design and development of modular
furniture components. This role requires expertise in creating precise 3D models and drawings in
SolidWorks, ensuring designs meet production and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop 3D models and detailed drawings of modular furniture components.
• Lead prototyping and testing phases to validate designs.
• Collaborate with production and procurement teams to ensure design feasibility.
• Optimize designs for manufacturability, cost-effectiveness, and durability.
• Maintain design documentation and version control.
• Conduct design reviews and integrate feedback effectively.
• Stay updated with industry trends and CAD best practices.
Required Qualifications
• Diploma / BE in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with SolidWorks compulsory.
• Prior experience in the furniture industry compulsory.
