Role & Responsibility:
- Take end-to-end QA ownership for assigned projects, ensuring delivery of high-quality software solutions aligned with business requirements and timelines.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reusable automation frameworks to improve test efficiency, coverage, and overall product quality.
- Define and implement comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test scenarios covering functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT testing.
- Lead and coordinate testing activities across multiple releases and environments.
- Perform both manual and automation testing to validate application functionality, performance, and stability.
- Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, project managers, and stakeholders to identify risks, clarify requirements, and ensure quality deliverables.
- Drive reporting and quality governance by preparing QA status reports, defect metrics, test coverage reports, and release readiness assessments.
- Participate in defect triage meetings and ensure timely resolution and closure of issues.
- Support and guide junior QA team members through mentoring, knowledge sharing, and best practices adoption.
- Ensure adherence to QA processes, standards, and testing methodologies across projects.
- Manage stakeholder communication by providing regular updates on testing progress, quality risks, and mitigation plans.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for testing processes, frameworks, and automation practices.
Required Skills and Experience
· 4 to 6 years of experience in Software Testing / Quality Assurance.
· Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Defect Life Cycle.
· Hands-on experience in manual and automation testing.
· Experience in preparing test strategies, test plans, test cases, and test reports.
· Strong knowledge of functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT testing.
· Experience working in JIRA /Azure DevOps / qTest
API testing (Postman, REST Assured), Performance or non-functional testing examples.
· Ability to independently manage QA activities and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
