Job Description
Test Strategy & Planning
- Define test strategy, test plans, and test scope for OSS/BSS systems
- Analyze requirements for systems like:
- OSS (Operations Support Systems): network provisioning, fault management
- BSS (Business Support Systems): billing, CRM, order management
- Identify test coverage for complex telecom workflows (e.g., order-to-cash, trouble-to-resolve)
- Functional & End-to-End Testing
- Validate end-to-end telecom business processes, such as:
- Order management → service provisioning → billing
- Test integrations between multiple systems:
- CRM
- Mediation systems
- Billing platforms
- Network elements
- Validate REST/SOAP APIs used in OSS/BSS ecosystems
- Test:
- Service orchestration flows
- Microservices communication
- Verify message queues and middleware (Kafka, MQ, etc.)
- Defect Management
- Identify, log, and track defects using tools like JIRA
- Perform:
- Root cause analysis
- Defect triage participation
- Work closely with developers to resolve issues
