Job Description: Sr Test Engineer Manual & Automation Testing
Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Test Engineer with 5+ years of
experience in Manual and Automation Testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible
for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of web applications through
comprehensive testing strategies. The candidate should have strong expertise in test
automation frameworks and hands-on experience with Playwright, Cypress, and JMeter.

Qualification: MCA/BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech
Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts.
- Execute performance, load, and stress testing.
- Identify, document, track, and verify software defects through the defect lifecycle.
- Collaborate closely with Developers, Product Managers, and Business Analysts, teams
to ensure product quality.
- Analyze test results and prepare detailed test reports and quality metrics.
- Continuously improve testing processes, frameworks, and automation coverage.
Skills
- 5+ years of experience in Software Testing and Quality Assurance.
- Strong experience in Manual Testing methodologies and best practices.
- Hands-on experience in Automation Testing using tools.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile, and Scrum methodologies.
- Experience in API Testing using Postman or REST Assured.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation integration.
- Basic understanding of SQL and database testing.
- Familiarity with Git and version control systems.
- Design, develop, and maintain automation test scripts and frameworks.
- Automate regression, smoke, and critical business flow test cases.
- Execute automated test suites and analyze test results.
- Improve test coverage and reduce manual testing efforts through automation.
- Maintain automation repositories and ensure code quality standards.
- Added advantages of Automation tools like Playwright, Jmeter and Cypress etc.
