Job Summary
We are looking for an exceptional
Sr. Software Engineering Manager to lead a high-impact engineering team at the intersection of
CPQ platform delivery, business transformation, and organizational scale. In this role, you will guide a talented Bangalore-based team responsible for delivering reliable, business-critical software while also shaping the future of how we plan, estimate, govern, and evolve our engineering work.
You will drive end-to-end execution across CPQ-related initiatives, lead cross-functional collaboration with business and technical stakeholders, and play a pivotal role in modernizing processes that improve speed, predictability, and quality. Beyond delivery, this leader will build a strong engineering culture by developing talent, strengthening team capability, and creating an environment where innovation and operational excellence go hand in hand.

Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of high-impact software engineering initiatives and platforms that directly advance business priorities while embedding security, scalability, and reliability from the start.
- Shape engineering standards, architecture, and automation strategies that accelerate software delivery and create a modern, efficient development ecosystem.
- Partner across software development, product, and business teams to prioritize, plan, and execute complex cross-organizational programs with clarity and momentum.
- Help define technology strategy and influence engineering roadmaps that drive long-term innovation and competitive advantage.
- Own key portions of the planning and execution of multiple complex projects and programs that power the continued evolution of the organization’s software products.
- Build strong relationships across functions and with senior client and business leaders to uncover new opportunities, remove barriers, and align engineering investments to strategic goals.
- Champion the adoption of tools and practices that improve developer productivity and quality, including automation for builds, deployments, static code analysis, and testing.
- Partner with senior leadership to define team goals, KPIs, and budgets, while leading performance management and building a culture of accountability, growth, and excellence.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs, translate priorities into actionable plans, and ensure engineering execution delivers measurable impact.
- Turn strategy into action by converting functional objectives into scalable operational processes and leading teams through disciplined, high-quality execution.
Education & Experience Recommended
- Four-year or Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
- Typically has 10+ years of job-related experience or 8-10 years of management experience, preferably in software designing & development, software architecture, programming languages, or a related field.
