Job Overview:
CGI is looking for a talented and motivated Data Analyst with strong expertise in SQL, Python, PySpark to build and manage scalable, efficient, and reliable data pipelines and infrastructure. You’ll play a key role in transforming raw data into actionable insights, working closely with data scientists, analysts, and business teams.
Your future duties and responsibilities
4+ years experience with Shell Scripting: Excellent proficiency, with ability to automate and streamline processes.
SQL: Strong command of query writing, optimization, and database management.
Hadoop Ecosystem: Hands-on experience with Hive/Impala and working knowledge of PySpark.
Data Analysis: Proven ability to interpret complex datasets and provide actionable insights.
Problem-Solving: Analytical mindset with attention to detail and accuracy.
Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role
Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets to support business decision-making.
Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and reporting.
Develop and maintain Shell scripts to automate workflows and data processes.
Work with Hadoop ecosystem tools (Hive, Impala, PySpark) for big data analysis.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver insights.
Build dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate findings effectively.
Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and governance across systems.
