Role Description
We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer with strong experience in Node.js to design, build, and scale backend systems. You will be responsible for developing high-performance APIs, managing data systems, and contributing to architecture decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable backend services using Node.js
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices
- Work with SQL and NoSQL databases for efficient data storage and retrieval
- Optimize performance, reliability, and scalability of systems
- Collaborate with frontend, product, and DevOps teams
- Ensure code quality through reviews, testing, and best practices
- Troubleshoot production issues and improve system stability
Required Skills
- 2–3 years of experience in React Native / mobile app development
- Strong experience in Node.js and backend development
- Solid understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture
- Experience with SQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL)
- Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Redis)
- Good understanding of system design and scalable architectures
- Experience with APIs, microservices, and distributed systems
- Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud environments
Good to Have
- Working knowledge of Go (Golang)
- Experience with high-scale systems or real-time applications
- Exposure to message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.)
Qualifications
- In-depth knowledge of Computer Science principles, including algorithms, data structures, and system design
- Strong experience with Back-End Web Development and Software Development practices
- Proficiency in Programming languages (e.g., NodeJs, Go) and knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts
- Experience with developing, deploying, and maintaining scalable systems
- Familiarity with database management and optimization
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Comfortable working in a remote, collaborative, tech-driven environment
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is a plus
Work Requirements
- Full-time, Work from Office (Noida)
- 5 days a week
