1. Role Summary
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented D365 Finance & Operations (F&O) Functional Consultant at the C2 level to join the FinOps track of the OASIS digital transformation project for the Asian Institute of Management (AIM). The successful candidate will work closely with the existing FinOps team to support functional configuration, data synchronization, and end-to-end testing of D365 F&O modules. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on project experience on a large-scale ERP transformation in the higher education sector.
2. Key Responsibilities
- Support configuration and functional setup of D365 Finance & Operations modules including Accounts Receivable, Sales Orders, and General Ledger.
- Assist in Dual Write setup and data synchronization between D365 CRM (Dynamics 365) and D365 F&O including Contact (Person), Account (Org), and Sales Order entities.
- Perform functional testing of synced data across CRM and FinOps environments (QA, UAT).
- Assist in data validation for Sales Order creation flows Application Fee, Reservation Fee, and Program Fee.
- Support integration testing for payment gateway (PayMaya) flows and collection letter scheduling.
- Create and maintain functional test cases for FinOps user stories in Azure DevOps (ADO).
- Participate in sprint ceremonies daily standups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with the CRM development team and BA team for cross-module data flow validation.
- Log, track, and follow up on bugs identified during QA and UAT cycles in ADO.
- Prepare functional documentation including configuration guides, test scripts, and user manuals.
- Support end-user training and knowledge transfer activities during UAT phase.
3. Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills
- Min 4 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
- Understanding of core F&O modules: Accounts Receivable, Sales & Marketing, Cash & Bank Management.
- Working knowledge of Dual Write configuration between D365 CRM and D365 F&O.
- Familiarity with data entities, data management workspace, and batch jobs in D365 F&O.
- Basic understanding of Power Automate and its role in cross-system integrations.
- Exposure to Azure DevOps (ADO) for sprint management, work item tracking, and test case documentation.
- Basic understanding of SQL / data querying for validation and troubleshooting.
