Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Software Engineer based in Chennai. In this role, the Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing back-end web applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design scalable software solutions, implementing object-oriented programming principles, and contributing to the overall system architecture design. The role also includes debugging, code reviews, and contributing to the continuous improvement of development processes and system performance.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and software architecture
- Proven experience in Back-End Web Development and Software Development for scalable solutions
- Proficiency in Programming languages and frameworks used in web and enterprise applications
- Expertise in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and its practical implementation
- Strong problem-solving skills and an aptitude for learning and applying new technologies
- Ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly
- Familiarity with cloud-based platforms, microservices architecture, or CI/CD pipelines is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience preferred)
