Job details:
Data Engineer with 5–7 years of experience, specializing in Snowflake and advanced SQL & Azure data factory.
Responsibilities
- Build and optimize data pipelines and ETL workflows using Snowflake and Azure Data Factory (ADF).
- Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and transformations in Snowflake.
- Implement Snowflake features: Streams, Tasks, Cloning, Time Travel, Performance Optimization, Materialized Views.
- Design and maintain data models (star schema, snowflake schema, fact/dimension tables).
- Write Python scripts for automation, transformations, and CI/CD integration.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for data workflows (Azure DevOps/Git).
Required Skills
- Strong Snowflake Development experience (not just administration).
- Expertise in Azure Data Factory (pipeline design, data flows, orchestration).
- Advanced SQL development skills.
- Experience with Python for data engineering.
- Knowledge of data modelling techniques.
Nice To Have
- Exposure to Power BI or other visualization tools.
- Familiarity with cloud environments (Azure, AWS).
