Senior Full Stack Engineer

About Us
We are building the next generation of personalization for direct-to-consumer brands. Merchants install our JavaScript plugin, and our AI autonomously runs experiments and personalizes their storefront experience to improve conversion. Instead of teams manually building and analysing tests, our platform finds what works and applies it.
It is a small team, an ambitious product, and a problem space where the work you ship is measured directly in customer outcomes.
The Role
We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer who is a strong generalist. You will work across the entire stack, from what runs in a shopper's browser, through our backend services and data pipelines, to the AI systems that decide what to show and when.
This is a hands-on role with real ownership. You will not be confined to one layer or one service. We are looking for someone who learns quickly, reasons from data, questions assumptions, and moves with urgency.
What You Will Do
- Build and ship features end to end, across frontend, backend, and data.
- Design and build APIs, authentication flows, and integrations with third-party platforms.
- Work with the data that powers our experimentation and personalization engine.
- Build and improve features that use LLM APIs in production.
- Deploy, operate, and troubleshoot services in production.
- Work directly with the founders and the wider team on product direction, not just tickets.
What We Are Looking For
Experience
- 3+ years of professional software development experience, having shipped production software that real users depend on.
Frontend
- A solid understanding of how the browser actually works: the DOM, rendering, the event loop, and how requests are made and handled.
- Comfortable building and reasoning about user-facing interfaces.
Backend
- Proficiency in a backend language such as Python, Java, or Node.js.
- Proven experience building APIs, implementing authentication and authorization, and integrating third-party services.
Deployment
- Able to deploy and operate applications yourself, whether on a VPS or through orchestrated environments such as ECS or Kubernetes.
Data
- Experience working with data warehouses or data at scale: modelling it, querying it, and reasoning about it.
AI and LLMs
- A working understanding of core machine learning concepts.
- Hands-on experience building with LLM APIs, including a real grasp of the parameters that govern them, such as temperature, tokens, and context, and their trade-offs.

- You reason from data and evidence rather than habit or opinion.

Nice to have
- Experience in ecommerce, experimentation, personalization, or recommendation systems.
- Experience in a small, fast-moving team where roles are fluid and ownership is broad.
Our Hiring Process
We do things a little differently. Rather than starting with an introductory call, we start with the work.
- Take-home assignment. You build and deploy a small application. Once we send it, you have 24 hours to submit.
- Project review. We walk through your submission together and discuss your design decisions and trade-offs.
- Technical interview. Covering frontend, backend, data, deployment, and LLMs. We share most of the topics with you in advance so you know what to prepare.
- Final discussion. A conversation with our leadership team about the role and about you.
You are welcome to use AI coding tools throughout the assignment. We use them ourselves. The only expectation is that you can explain and reason about everything you submit, because the project review is built entirely around your implementation and your thinking.

₹20,00,000 to ₹30,00,000 CTC per annum, depending on experience and demonstrated ability.

land in this range is determined by what you can do, not by what you were
previously paid.

This is a small team. You will not be handed tickets from a backlog. You will
own features end to end, take part in product decisions, and see your work
running in front of real shoppers within days, not quarters.
Work at the edge of AI
Our product is an AI system that runs experiments and personalizes storefronts
autonomously. You will build with LLM APIs, work on the data and the
experimentation engine behind it, and solve problems that do not have a
Stack Overflow answer yet.
Genuine breadth
You will not be boxed into one layer of the stack. Frontend, backend, data,
deployment, and AI are all in scope. If you want to stop being a specialist
and become genuinely dangerous across the whole system, this is the place.
A learning environment, and we mean it
Trying something ambitious and failing is expected here, and you will not be
blamed for it. We expect you to ask why, learn the fundamentals rather than
lean on AI to cover for you, and change your mind quickly when the data says
you are wrong.

for a decision to come back down a chain.
