Overview
Predict365 is building a prediction-market trading platform where users trade on the probability of real-world events. Prices reflect the collective market probability of outcomes, similar to financial markets where traders buy and sell contracts.
The platform requires high-performance backend systems capable of handling real-time order flows, trading logic, pricing updates, and event-driven infrastructure. We are building the technology stack from the ground up and are looking for engineers who enjoy working on scalable backend systems and trading infrastructure.
Backend Software Engineer
Predict365 is hiring a Backend Software Engineer (3+ years experience) to help design and build the core backend infrastructure powering our trading platform. The role focuses on backend systems, APIs, trading logic, and real-time platform architecture.
The engineer will work closely with product and business teams to ship features quickly while maintaining reliability and scalability.
Key Responsibilities
• Build and maintain backend systems for a real-time trading platform
• Design and develop APIs for order placement, execution, positions, and settlements
• Implement trading logic such as buy/sell orders, spreads, order books, and trade lifecycle workflows
• Develop systems for real-time data processing and event handling
• Ensure platform performance, scalability, and reliability under high transaction loads
• Integrate external services such as payments, KYC, authentication, and market data feeds
• Collaborate with product and frontend teams to deliver platform features
Requirements
• 3+ years of experience in backend software development
• Strong experience with Node.js and React
• Solid understanding of databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or Redis
• Experience building REST APIs, real-time systems, or event-driven architectures
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Strong understanding of system design and scalable architecture
• Basic understanding of trading concepts such as buy/sell orders, spreads, order books, and trade execution
