Software Engineer IV (Java / Supply Chain)
Location: India (Remote)
Core Hours: 9 AM – 12 PM (Daily Standup at 10:30 AM)
Pay: INR 2-2.5 lacs per month (based on location & experience)
On-Call: Yes (Low volume, high-priority incidents only)
💡 About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Level 4) to join a high-impact Supply Chain Transportation team. You will work on building scalable systems that drive inventory movement and logistics efficiency across a large retail ecosystem.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
- Lead design & architecture of scalable systems
- Build and optimize microservices & REST APIs
- Drive automation and workflow optimization
- Mentor junior engineers and lead technical initiatives
- Troubleshoot performance, scalability, and security issues
- Collaborate across teams (Inventory, Merchandising, Analytics)
🧠 Required Skills
- 7+ years of software development experience
- Strong in Java + Spring Boot
- Experience with Docker / Kubernetes
- Cloud experience (AWS or GCP)
- Messaging systems (Kafka / SQS)
- CI/CD, Terraform, and testing frameworks
- Strong debugging and system design skills
🎯 Nice to Have
- Experience in Supply Chain / Logistics systems
- Familiarity with tools like Splunk, New Relic
