Job Title: Senior Software Engineer Designation: Senior Software Engineer Location: Bangalore SEZ Tower E Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web development, particularly with HTML, CSS, and Vue.js, and will be responsible for developing and maintaining user interfaces for BMC web applications. The candidate should also possess a solid understanding of web accessibility principles and be able to contribute to enhancing user experience (UX) design.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain BMC web user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and Vue.js (Vue 2 / Vue 3).
- Implement and support full Redfish functionality, ensuring compliance with standards and best practices.
- Contribute to UX design improvements, focusing on usability, readability, and accessibility.
- Support legacy components by utilizing jQuery for migration and enhancement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement APIs, ensuring robust integration with existing systems.
- Handle JSON request and response formats effectively, ensuring data integrity and performance.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve development practices.
Mandatory Skills:
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and Vue.js (Vue 2 / Vue 3).
- Strong understanding of web accessibility principles and best practices.
- Hands-on experience with full Redfish implementation, including methods, resources, and responses.
- Ability to contribute to improved UX design.
- Familiarity with jQuery for legacy support and component migration.
- Strong understanding of HTTP and Java RESTful APIs.
- Proficient in JSON request/response handling and basic understanding of JSON.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Modern C++ (C++17).
- Familiarity with OpenBMC build system or embedded Linux environments.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should possess a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. A strong passion for software development and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions are essential. The candidate should also demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
