About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our core engineering team. You will design, build, and ship production features for our AI platform with a strong focus on data compliance, privacy, and security — critical for handling sensitive business data, voice interactions, customer records, and multilingual workflows.
You will work directly with the founding team and report to the CTO in a fast-paced, ownership-driven environment. This is an individual-contributor role with potential to grow into technical leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable backend, full-stack, or platform features for our multimodal AI system (Agent VIC).
- Implement and maintain data compliance controls: encryption, consent management, audit logging, data minimization, privacy-by-design, and adherence to GDPR, CCPA, SOC 2, and other relevant standards.
- Build reliable integrations for voice AI, lead management, customer communication, and workflow automation.
- Write clean, testable code and participate in architecture and code reviews.
- Collaborate with product and AI teams to deliver secure, high-quality features that scale with our growing SMB customer base.
- Proactively improve system reliability, performance, and security.
Requirements
- 5–7 years of hands-on software engineering experience (backend, full-stack, or platform).
- Strong understanding of data compliance and privacy — proven experience implementing compliant solutions in SaaS, AI, fintech, healthtech, or regulated environments.
- Proficiency in modern tech stacks (Node.js/Python/Go, cloud platforms — AWS/GCP/Azure, databases, microservices, Docker/Kubernetes preferred).
- Experience building production systems handling user data securely at scale.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills; comfortable working in a remote, startup environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
Compensation (2026 Market-Leading for India Remote)
- Base Salary: Up to ₹45 Lakhs per year (₹40–45L based on experience).
- Variable Bonus: 20% of base (tied to performance and company milestones).
- Equity: Up to 5% stock options (4-year vesting, 1-year cliff) — significant upside as we close our current funding round.

Total first-year cash: Up to ₹54 Lakhs+ for top performers + meaningful equity in a well-positioned AI startup.
