We are looking for a backend Software Engineer with 4-6 years of experience in C/C++ development who can take end-to-end ownership of features and defect fixes in complex systems.
The role requires strong expertise in modern C/C++ (C++98/C++11/C++13), solid Linux debugging skills, and experience with SQl\NoSQL databases such as any RDBMS or Couchbase. The candidate should demonstrate strong debugging skills, system design understanding, multithreading expertise, and the ability to quickly learn and adopt new technologies and programming languages.
Additionally, the candidate should be comfortable leveraging AI-assisted development tools for coding, debugging, documentation, and productivity improvement, and should demonstrate the ability to integrate such tools responsibly into the software development workflow.
Telecom/5G exposure is mandatory. Strong learning ability and adaptability are essential.
Exposure to containerized environments, Kubernetes, and cloud-native telecom applications (CNF) is good to have.

Responsibilities & Deliverables:
This is an opportunity for a C/C++ developer to work on next-generation Telecom and cloud-native network products.
Job Description:
The ideal candidate should have experience in C/C++ software development and delivering software solutions and provide L2 support.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver backend features and defect fixes end-to-end:
- requirement understanding → design → implementation → testing → QE handoff → release support.
- Design and develop high-performance backend components using modern C/C++ with focus on: performance, reliability, scalability, maintainability.
- Develop and maintain multi-threaded and high-performance network applications.
- Perform deep debugging and troubleshooting using Linux tools, logs, core dumps, and runtime analysis tools (gdb, valgrind, perf, etc.).
- Work with SQL\NoSQL databases such as any RDBMS, Couchbase for data storage, querying, and performance optimization.
- Understand and work in containerized environments, including:
- Kubernetes-based deployments
- Cloud Native Functions (CNF)
- Write supporting automation and utility scripts using languages such as Python, Bash, or Shell scripting.
- Ensure engineering quality by:
- writing unit tests and supporting integration testing
- performing peer code reviews
- following CI/CD and pre-merge quality checks
- conducting root cause analysis (RCA) for defects and improving future quality.
- Collaborate closely with QE, product, DevOps, and documentation teams to ensure high-quality and stable releases.
- Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, estimation, and design discussions.
- Demonstrate flexibility to work on multiple components and technologies simultaneously while maintaining ownership and accountability.
Skill Set:
Mandatory skills:
- 4-6 years of experience in C/C++ backend development.
- Strong expertise in modern C/C++ (C++11/14/17 or later).
- Deep understanding of:
- Object-Oriented Programming
- STL
- memory management
- RAII
- concurrency primitives.
- Strong experience in multithreading, synchronization, and concurrent programming.
- Strong Linux system programming and debugging skills, including:
- process/thread analysis
- core dump analysis
- gdb debugging
- system logs analysis.
- Good understanding of system design and scalable backend architecture.
- Experience with SQL\NoSQL databases such as any RDBMS, Couchbase.
- Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Bash, or Shell scripting).
- Experience with:
- Git
- CI/CD pipelines
- Code reviews.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
- Ability to learn new technologies and programming languages quickly.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools (such as code assistants, automated code generation tools, AI-based debugging tools, or documentation assistants) to enhance development productivity and efficiency.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
Desirable skills:
- Exposure to Networking concepts.
- Experience with high-performance packet processing systems.
- Understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, REST APIs).
- Experience with microservices and distributed systems.
- Familiarity with container technologies and Kubernetes environments.
- Understanding of Cloud Native Functions (CNF) and cloud-native architectures.
- Experience with performance tuning and system optimization.
- Exposure to observability tools, logging frameworks, and monitoring systems.
- Knowledge of database design and performance optimization.
- Familiarity with AI-enabled developer tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar coding assistants to support development, debugging, and documentation workflows.
Work Experience:
- 4-6 years’ experience on C++ Programming.
Educational Qualification:
- BE. / B.Tech., M.E./M. Tech. or M. Sc. in Computer Science or any related qualification.
