About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Developer with strong expertise in C++ to build and enhance high-performance industrial communication software for our client. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with communication protocols, networking, Docker, and DevOps practices.
Mandatory Skills
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in C++ Development
- Good knowledge of C# (preferred)
- Strong experience with industrial communication protocols:
- DNP3
- SNMP
- IEC 61850
- Modbus
- Experience with communication/file transfer protocols:
- FTP, FTPS, SFTP, TFTP
- HTTP
- ASCII, YMODEM, XMODEM
- ODBC driver implementation and database connectivity
- Protocol debugging using Wireshark, tcpdump, or similar tools
- Hands-on experience with Docker
- Understanding of CI/CD and DevOps practices
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance applications using C++
- Develop and support industrial communication interfaces and protocol stacks
- Implement and troubleshoot communication and file transfer protocols
- Develop ODBC drivers and database connectivity solutions
- Perform protocol analysis and resolve communication issues
- Collaborate with Product, QA, and cross-functional teams
- Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and mentoring junior developers
- Build scalable, reliable, and maintainable software solutions
Good to Have
- Experience in C# Development
- CI/CD and automated testing experience
- Exposure to SCADA, Industrial Automation, Power Systems, or Embedded Communication Software
