About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to lead the development of our B2B SaaS platform. This role requires a balance of hands-on coding and technical leadership, managing and guiding a team of 8 engineers while building scalable and high-performance systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Define, design, and own the overall technical architecture of the platform
- Lead the development of scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems
- Conduct code reviews and establish best practices for engineering standards
- Mentor and guide junior and mid-level developers
- Collaborate with founders and stakeholders to define product roadmap and priorities
- Ensure robust CI/CD pipelines, monitoring systems, and documentation practices
- Drive continuous improvement in system performance, reliability, and scalability
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of professional experience in software development
- Proven experience in building and deploying B2B SaaS applications
- Strong expertise in database design and optimization (MS SQL and/or PostgreSQL)
- Solid understanding of API design, authentication, caching, and asynchronous processing
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP) and CI/CD pipelines
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and lead engineering teams
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with multiple backend technologies (Node.js, Python, .NET)
- Exposure to data-intensive or enterprise-grade applications
- Prior experience in a technical leadership role
- Familiarity with AI-driven or AI-native product development
