Role Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer (Part-Time) with 5+ years of hands-on development experience in backend engineering and blockchain integration.
The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in Python, Java, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP), along with experience integrating ERC-20 smart contracts and blockchain systems. You will contribute directly to system architecture, backend development, and deployment of secure fintech solutions.
This is a remote role requiring a minimum of 6 focused hours daily, offering flexibility with accountability.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using Python and Java
- Build and optimize RESTful APIs for fintech applications
- Integrate blockchain capabilities including ERC-20 smart contracts and Web3 interactions
- Deploy, manage, and scale applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Implement strong security, authentication, and encryption standards
- Collaborate with frontend teams (React/Next.js) for seamless integrations
- Participate in architecture decisions, code reviews, and performance optimization
- Maintain CI/CD pipelines and automate deployments
- Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance production environments
Required Skills & Technologies
Programming: Python (Advanced), Java (Advanced)
Cloud: Google Cloud Platform (GCP) – Mandatory
Blockchain: ERC-20, Smart Contracts, Web3.js / Ethers.js, Solidity (basic knowledge preferred)
Frameworks: Django, Spring Boot or similar
Databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB
Tools: Git, Docker, CI/CD, Postman
Core Strengths: Security best practices, encryption, scalable architecture
Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum 7 years of professional software development experience
- Strong hands-on backend development expertise
- Practical blockchain/crypto integration experience
- Mandatory working knowledge of GCP deployment and cloud infrastructure
- Comfortable working remotely for at least 6 hours daily
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
