Key Responsibilities
- Architect & Build: Design, implement, and maintain high-throughput backend services and responsive frontend applications.
- Performance & Scale: Optimize database performance, query efficiency, and API response times for high-volume platform traffic.
- Technical Leadership: Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and champion clean code standards, automated testing, and security best practices.
- Feature Ownership: Partner with product managers to translate feature requirements into technical specifications and ship features reliably.
- System Reliability: Implement CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and error tracking to ensure 99.9% platform availability.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: 5+ years of full-stack or backend software engineering experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Tech Stack: Proficiency in modern frontend/backend frameworks (e.g., Node.js, Python, React, Next.js, or Go) and relational/non-relational databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- System Design: Proven experience in designing RESTful APIs, microservices, and micro-frontend architectures.
- Cloud & DevOps: Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure), Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Problem Solving: Strong algorithmic, debugging, and analytical skills with a focus on scalable solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building or scaling job boards, content aggregation engines, or search platforms.
- Familiarity with search indexing technologies (Elasticsearch, Algolia) or AI-driven matching algorithms.
