Key Responsibilities:
- Take end-to-end ownership of products and features — from ideation, architecture, and development to deployment and continuous improvement.
- Design and build scalable, user-centric solutions that solve critical business challenges while delivering seamless customer experiences.
- Develop high-quality, modular, maintainable, and production-ready code following engineering best practices.
- Optimize system architecture, application performance, scalability, reliability, and security across services.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Product, Design, AI, and DevOps to deliver impactful solutions.
- Build and maintain robust backend services, APIs, and distributed systems with a focus on performance and resilience.
- Ensure high system availability and smooth deployments with minimal to zero downtime.
- Participate in technical design discussions, code reviews, mentoring, and engineering best practices initiatives.
- Leverage AI-assisted development workflows and modern engineering tools to accelerate development while maintaining strong software fundamentals.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience), preferably from Tier-1 institutions.
- Strong strategic communication and presentation skills.
- Proven ability in real-world problem solving using first-principles thinking.
- Proficiency in Java (Spring Boot), Python (Django), and Golang.
- Hands-on experience with database design, RDBMS (PostgreSQL), and NoSQL databases.
- Skilled in writing unit and integration test cases.
- Strong understanding of asynchronous programming and technologies.
- Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., AWS EC2, Cognito, API Gateway, ECS).
- Experience with pub-sub technologies (SQS, Kafka, RabbitMQ).
- Knowledge of caching tools (Redis, Hazelcast).
- Exposure to DevOps practices and Big Data (a plus).
- Strong understanding of software architecture and design patterns (Microservices, CQRS, Domain-Driven Design).
- Proficiency with GenAI tools and “vibe coding,” backed by solid fundamentals.
- Mandatory exposure to Artificial Intelligence / AI Engineering.
