We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Software Engineer – Data & Analytics to design, build, and optimize scalable data solutions for global customers.
What You'll Do
Data Engineering & Analytics
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Microsoft Fabric.
- Build and optimize data warehouses, data marts, and ETL/ELT processes.
- Transform, integrate, and manage structured and unstructured data from multiple sources.
- Develop robust data models supporting reporting and advanced analytics requirements.
- Ensure data quality, governance, compliance, and security best practices.
Power BI & Business Intelligence
- Design highly interactive and visually compelling Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Create and optimize complex DAX measures, calculations, and Power Query transformations.
- Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) and data access controls.
- Improve report performance and ensure adherence to Power BI best practices.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into actionable insights.
Azure Data Platform
- Work extensively with:
- Azure Data Factory (ADF)
- Azure Synapse Analytics
- Microsoft Fabric
- Azure SQL Database
- Azure Data Lake Storage
- Other Azure Data Services
- Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance data platform performance.
Customer & Project Engagement
- Participate in requirement gathering and solution design discussions.
- Collaborate with customers, architects, and delivery teams during project implementations.
- Provide technical recommendations and contribute to best practices across projects.
What We're Looking For
Required Skills
✅ Strong proficiency in SQL
✅ Hands-on experience with Python and/or Scala
✅ Strong experience in:
- Microsoft Fabric
- Azure Synapse Analytics
- Azure Data Factory
- Power BI
✅ Expertise in:
- Data Modeling
- Data Warehousing
- ETL/ELT Development
- Data Transformation and Integration
✅ Experience with:
- DAX
- Power Query (M Language)
- Power BI Performance Optimization
- Row Level Security (RLS)
✅ Understanding of:
- Data Governance
- Data Security
- Azure Data Architecture
✅ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
✅ Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Azure SQL Database and Azure Data Lake
Exposure to Data Engineering best practices and cloud-based analytics solutions
Microsoft Certification in Azure Data, Fabric, or Power BI is a plus
Experience working directly with global customers
