Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Senior Software Engineer - AI role based in Gurugram. The Senior Software Engineer - AI will design, develop, and maintain production-grade AI-driven services and back-end systems that power digital products for a wide range of clients. Responsibilities include architecting scalable solutions, writing clean and maintainable code, integrating AI/ML models into applications, and optimizing performance and reliability. The role involves collaborating closely with product managers, designers, data scientists, and other engineers to translate business requirements into technical solutions and to deliver features iteratively. The engineer will also contribute to code reviews, mentor team members, help define engineering best practices, and stay current with AI, cloud, and software development trends to inform technical decisions.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Computer Science, including algorithms, data structures, and systems design.
- Proficiency in Software Development and Programming, with experience building production applications and services.
- Hands-on experience in Back-End Web Development, including RESTful APIs, microservices, and database integration.
- Deep understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.
- Practical experience building and integrating AI/ML models into products (e.g., NLP, recommendation systems, generative AI).
- Experience with at least one modern programming language commonly used in AI/back-end development (e.g., Python, Java, C#, Node.js).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and CI/CD pipelines for deploying and maintaining services.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams, communicate complex technical concepts clearly, and mentor less experienced engineers.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
