Role Description
Nuviq is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (AI Enthusiast) with 7+ years of experience for a full-time remote role. The individual in this role will design, develop, and optimize scalable software solutions with an emphasis on AI and machine learning-related projects. Responsibilities include software architecture design, backend development, implementation of programming best practices, integration of AI algorithms, and performance optimization of AI-based systems. The candidate will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality production-ready systems, mentor junior team members, and remain up-to-date with advancements in AI and software engineering.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Computer Science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and systems design
- Advanced proficiency in Back-End Web Development and scalable system design
- Extensive experience in Software Development with a focus on deploying and maintaining production-grade solutions
- Expertise in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles
- Proficiency in AI/ML systems development is a strong advantage
- Excellent problem-solving skills and experience in troubleshooting complex systems
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a distributed team environment
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Experience with cloud computing platforms, data pipelines, or distributed systems is a plus
