PRIMARY PURPOSE OF JOB:
Aa Senior Software Development Engineer, you will drive key projects that are critical to Incomlend’s growth and platform evolution. We are looking for a versatile, talented, and self-directed engineer who thrives on solving complex technical challenges. You should have strong expertise in databases, object-oriented programming, and API development. In this role, you will enhance our existing architecture, improve system performance, and design and implement new features. Your experience will enable you to take on a team leading role within the team and contribute to shaping our technical direction.
We strongly prefer candidates who can join immediately or with a short notice period.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop, enhance, and test new and existing software products.
- Analyse complex business requirements and provide guidance on technical design, architecture, and implementation.
- Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and implement reliable fixes.
- Ensure high standards of software quality and maintainability.
- Collaborate closely with team members and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Mentor and coach junior engineers to support their growth.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or related fields.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in both frontend and backend development.
- Strong understanding of Programming (Python, TypeScript, JavaScript).
- Solid knowledge of web services and API technologies (REST, JSON, Microservices).
- Strong experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
- Good understanding of Delegated Authorization and Federated Identity systems such as OAuth 2.0, SAML, or OpenID.
- Hands-on experience with Python and/or ReactJS.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies (e.g., SCRUM).
- Knowledge of cloud computing, offline storage, threading, performance tuning, and security best practices.
- Experience in mobile development is a plus.
- Experience with Salesforce is a plus.
