Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Software Developer to join our growing engineering team. While the title is broad, this role requires specific, in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in CRM and ERP development. You will lead the architecture, customization, and integration of enterprise-grade solutions for our clients. You will bridge the gap between complex business processes and technical execution, ensuring that the systems we build scale efficiently, optimize workflows, and seamlessly integrate with our cutting-edge AI and automation tools.
Key Responsibilities
- ERP & CRM Development: Design, build, and deploy custom CRM and ERP solutions tailored to specific client needs and industry standards.
- System Customization: Lead the end-to-end implementation of popular ERP/CRM platforms (e.g., Odoo, ERPNext, Salesforce, Zoho, or custom-built solutions), customizing modules, workflows, and dashboards.
- Complex Integrations: Develop robust APIs and webhooks to seamlessly integrate core business systems with third-party applications, payment gateways, and Upteky’s proprietary AI chatbots.
- Data Migration & Management: Oversee complex data migrations from legacy systems to new platforms, ensuring data integrity, security, and zero downtime.
- Performance Optimization: Audit existing client architecture to identify bottlenecks, optimize database performance, and improve overall system scalability.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and collaborate closely with business analysts, project managers, and the AI team to deliver cohesive digital ecosystems.
- Client Collaboration: Act as a technical subject matter expert during client consultations to translate business requirements into actionable technical architectures.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: 5 to 6 years of proven experience in software development, with a mandatory focus on designing and implementing CRM and ERP systems.
- Platform Expertise: Deep knowledge of leading ERP/CRM ecosystems and their underlying architectures.
- Backend Mastery: Strong proficiency in backend programming languages relevant to enterprise systems (e.g., Python, Node.js, PHP, or Java).
- Database Architecture: Advanced understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases, including complex query optimization and schema design.
- API & Integrations: Extensive experience building and consuming RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and handling complex third-party system integrations.
- Business Acumen: Strong understanding of core business processes (sales pipelines, inventory management, supply chain, HR, finance) and how they map to software workflows.
- Version Control & CI/CD: Proficiency with Git, Docker, and deployment pipelines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience integrating AI tools, Machine Learning models, or NLP frameworks into enterprise software.
- Prior experience working in an agency or client-facing environment.
- Cloud infrastructure experience (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure).
