Role Description
We are looking for a Senior Software Developer to build and scale Mahir Screener—our intelligent stock research and analytics platform. You'll work with product, research, and engineering teams to design scalable backend systems, develop APIs, implement real-time data services, and build high-performance applications capable of processing large volumes of financial data.
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Pune.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience building production-grade applications.
- Strong expertise in Java (Java 17+), Spring Boot, and backend development.
- Experience with REST APIs, WebSockets, and real-time systems.
- Strong understanding of OOP, SOLID Principles, and Design Patterns.
- Experience designing Microservices, scalable architectures, and distributed systems.
- Strong knowledge of System Design, performance optimization, caching, and concurrency.
- Experience with PostgreSQL/MySQL, Redis, and database optimization.
- Familiarity with Kafka/RabbitMQ or other messaging systems.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
- Knowledge of authentication, security best practices, and secure coding.
- Experience building data-intensive, analytics, or FinTech applications is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills, ownership mindset, and ability to mentor junior developers.
