Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer with strong expertise in SAP Commerce Cloud (formerly SAP Hybris Commerce) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, customizing, and maintaining e-commerce solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and high-performing applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, customize, and maintain applications on the SAP Commerce Cloud platform.
- Develop and enhance storefront, backend, and integration components.
- Configure and customize core SAP Commerce modules including Product Catalog, Order Management, Customer Management, Promotions, and Pricing.
- Develop integrations with third-party systems such as ERP, CRM, Payment Gateways, and other enterprise applications.
- Write clean, scalable, and maintainable Java code following best practices.
- Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues.
- Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical design decisions.
- Optimize application performance, security, and scalability.
- Collaborate with business analysts, QA teams, project managers, and stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.
- Prepare technical documentation and support deployment activities.
- Stay updated with SAP Commerce Cloud releases, features, and industry best practices.
- Perform any other duties and responsibilities reasonably assigned as part of the role.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of software development experience.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with SAP Commerce Cloud (SAP Hybris).
- Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Framework, and RESTful APIs.
- Experience with SAP Commerce architecture, extensions, and customization.
- Knowledge of OCC APIs, ImpEx, FlexibleSearch, CronJobs, Solr Search, and Backoffice customization.
- Experience with databases such as MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SAP Spartacus/Composable Storefront.
- Experience with cloud deployments and DevOps practices.
- Knowledge of SAP integrations such as SAP ERP, SAP S/4HANA, SAP CPI, or SAP Integration Suite.
- SAP Commerce Cloud certification is an added advantage.
Experience
- 5–10+ years of overall software development experience.
- Minimum 3 years of SAP Commerce Cloud (SAP Hybris) development experience.
