Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on business and technical requirements
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing across multiple environments
- Identify, log, track, and manage defects through to resolution
- Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and internal stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure test coverage
- Actively participate in all agile ceremonies e.g. sprint planning, and refinement sessions
- Review and provide feedback on acceptance criteria and test cases to ensure completeness and accuracy
- Drive test approach for complex features and releases
- Support production validation and release activities
- Ensure proper documentation of test results, defects, and quality metrics
- Mentor junior testers and promote good practices for testing
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- 6+ years of experience in manual testing
- Strong understanding of SDLC, especially in Agile/Scrum environments
- Hands-on experience with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps)
- Ability to analyze complex systems and identify edge cases and risk areas
- Strong knowledge of API testing (e.g., Postman) and database validation (SQL)
- Experience with end-to-end testing and UAT support
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
