Role Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Social Media Strategist to take end-to-end ownership of social media strategy, campaign planning, and platform growth. This role requires someone who can blend creativity with data-driven decision making, lead execution teams, and use paid campaigns, and the latest tools—including AI—to deliver measurable business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities (incl. required skills)
- Strategy & Planning: Develop quarterly and monthly social media strategies aligned with business objectives (awareness, engagement, lead generation). Define KPIs, audience personas, and content pillars to guide execution teams.
- Campaign Ownership: Lead campaign ideation (concept notes, keyword strategy, reels roadmap, influencer grids). Oversee content part of paid ad campaigns (Meta, LinkedIn, Google Display). Run A/B tests for creatives, captions, and landing pages.
- Content & Collaboration: Work closely with design, copy, and video teams to deliver platform-native content (posts, carousels, reels, shorts). Ensure brand voice and visual consistency across channels. Review and approve monthly content calendars.
- Analytics & Optimization: Monitor metrics (engagement rate, follower growth, CTR, CPC/CPL). Build data-backed monthly and quarterly reports with insights and action points. Conduct competitor analysis and share trend reports.
- Community & Advocacy: Oversee community engagement plans for comments, DMs, and reviews. Manage influencer/creator collaborations and build relationships with industry partners and online communities.
- Innovation & Tools: Champion use of AI for content ideas, automation, and performance analysis. Experiment with new formats (AR filters, interactive polls, live streams) and platform features.
Leadership & Governance: Mentor junior executives, review their work, and provide constructive feedback. Maintain campaign trackers, budget sheets, and ensure smooth cross-team collaboration.
