Role Description
We are looking for a strategic and result-driven Senior Social Media Manager to lead content, campaigns, and client success across multiple brands. This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Social Media Manager, located in Kolkata. The role involves developing and executing social media strategies, overseeing content creation and curation for various platforms, optimizing social media campaigns, and analyzing performance metrics. Responsibilities also include staying updated on social media trends, engaging with online communities, and collaborating with internal teams to drive brand visibility and audience engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Social Media Audit & Analysis
- Conduct in-depth audits, competitor research, and performance analysis
- Identify growth opportunities using data-driven insights
Content Strategy, Calendar & Execution
- Develop monthly content strategies and detailed content calendars
- Plan and execute campaigns to drive reach, engagement, and leads
- Manage posting and scheduling across platforms
Content, Ads & Copywriting
- Write and oversee engaging content, captions, and storytelling formats
- Create high-converting ad copies and scripts for campaigns
- Develop WhatsApp ad copies (via Interakt or similar tools)
Shoot & Creative Coordination
- Plan and coordinate shoots for content production
- Visit shoot locations/sites to oversee execution and ensure quality output
- Collaborate with designers and video editors for execution
ORM (Online Reputation Management)
- Monitor and manage comments, DMs, and reviews
- Maintain brand tone and handle sensitive communication
Client Coordination & Leadership
- Manage client communication, approvals, and feedback
- Present strategies, performance reports, and insights
- Handle multiple brands and ensure timely delivery
Reporting & Performance Tracking
- Create detailed monthly reports covering performance, insights, and improvements
- Track KPIs and optimize strategies accordingly
Requirements:
- 5–6 years of proven experience in social media management
- Strong expertise in strategy building, content planning, and execution
- Experience handling multiple clients and leading projects
- Willingness to travel/visit shoot locations when required
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills
