Role Overview
We are looking for a dynamic Senior Site Engineer cum QA/QC Engineer to handle both site execution and quality control activities for construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for supervising day-to-day construction works, ensuring quality compliance, coordinating with vendors/consultants, and maintaining project documentation.
The ideal candidate should be capable of independently managing site activities while ensuring work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
Responsibilities
Site Execution & Supervision
- Supervise daily construction activities at site
- Ensure execution as per approved drawings and specifications
- Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and site teams
- Monitor progress, manpower, materials, and productivity
- Maintain DPR (Daily Progress Reports) and site records
- Report project progress and issues to the Project Manager
QA/QC & Inspection
- Conduct inspections for RCC, reinforcement, masonry, plastering, waterproofing, and finishing works
- Ensure compliance with QA/QC procedures and project standards
- Monitor material quality and testing activities
- Identify quality issues/non-conformities and ensure corrective actions
- Coordinate inspections with consultants and clients
Documentation & Billing Support
- Maintain QA/QC documents including IR, MIR, checklists, test reports, and NCRs
- Assist in quantity verification and subcontractor/client billing
- Maintain measurement and material reconciliation records
Safety & Coordination
- Ensure safety compliance during execution activities
- Coordinate with Project Manager, consultants, subcontractors, and site teams
- Support smooth execution with minimum rework and delays
Qualifications
- Diploma / B.E Civil Engineering
- 6–12 years experience in construction execution and QA/QC
- Strong knowledge of RCC works, drawings, and quality procedures
- Experience in site inspections, documentation, and contractor coordination
- Familiarity with MS Excel, AutoCAD, and reporting systems
- Ability to independently handle site execution and quality activities
Preferred
- Experience in industrial/commercial/building projects
- Exposure to consultant/client inspections
- Billing and quantity measurement knowledge preferred
Salary
₹5 – ₹7 LPA
