Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and responsible Senior Site Engineer to oversee and manage day-to-day construction site activities, ensure project execution as per drawings and timelines, supervise manpower, coordinate with contractors/vendors, and maintain quality and safety standards at the site.
The candidate will be responsible for the smooth execution of projects, monitoring work progress, resolving site-level issues, and ensuring timely project completion.
Key Roles & ResponsibilitiesSite Supervision & Execution
- Supervise overall site execution and construction activities.
- Ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and project timelines.
- Monitor daily site progress and report status updates to management.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and vendors.
Project Coordination
- Plan and manage site activities for smooth execution.
- Coordinate manpower, materials, machinery, and site resources.
- Resolve technical and operational site-related issues.
Quality Control
- Ensure construction quality standards are maintained.
- Conduct regular inspections and monitor workmanship quality.
- Verify measurements and ensure proper implementation of drawings.
Team Management
- Supervise junior engineers, supervisors, labour teams, and contractors.
- Allocate tasks and monitor team productivity.
- Ensure discipline and effective communication at the site.
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure workplace safety standards and protocols are followed.
- Monitor compliance with site safety regulations.
- Maintain proper documentation and records.
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare daily/weekly project progress reports.
- Maintain site records, measurements, work progress, and material consumption reports.
- Coordinate with internal teams for approvals and updates.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering
- Relevant certifications (if any) preferred
Experience Required
- 8+ years experience in civil construction/site execution
- Experience in residential, commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects preferred
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Strong leadership and site management skills
- Ability to handle end-to-end site execution independently
- Good coordination and multitasking ability
- Responsible, disciplined, and result-oriented
