Role Description The Senior Site Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Uttar Pradesh, India. This position is responsible for supervising daily construction activities, coordinating with civil engineers, contractors, and site staff, and ensuring that work is executed according to design specifications and structural engineering standards. The Senior Site Engineer oversees quality control procedures, monitors material usage, and ensures compliance with safety regulations and local building codes. The role includes reviewing drawings, resolving technical issues on site, preparing progress reports, and communicating project status to project managers and stakeholders. The Senior Site Engineer also mentors junior engineers and site personnel to maintain consistent performance and efficient workflows.
Qualifications
- Strong on-site supervision skills with experience managing construction activities and coordinating with Civil Engineers.
- Proficiency in Structural Engineering concepts and their application in real estate and infrastructure projects.
- Experience with Quality Control processes, including inspections, material testing, and compliance with standards.
- Effective Communication skills for collaborating with project teams, contractors, clients, and stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Relevant experience in site engineering or construction management, preferably in real estate or infrastructure projects.
- Knowledge of construction codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices in India.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, use basic site measurement tools, and prepare technical reports.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and capability to work in dynamic site conditions.
