Job Description – Senior Site Engineer
Location: Chennai / Tamil Nadu / Bangalore / Mysore / Pondicherry / Tada (AP)
Reports To: Project Manager
Industry: Construction / Industrial / Commercial Projects
Experience: 6–10 Years
Salary: ₹4.5 – ₹8 LPA

Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Senior Site Engineer to manage day-to-day site execution activities for construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for supervising site works, coordinating with subcontractors and vendors, ensuring quality and safety compliance, and supporting timely project completion.
The ideal candidate should have strong practical knowledge in RCC works, construction sequencing, manpower coordination, and site management.

Key Responsibilities
Site Execution & Supervision
• Supervise daily construction activities as per approved drawings and specifications
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and site teams for smooth project execution
• Monitor progress, manpower, materials, and equipment utilization
• Ensure timely completion of activities as per project schedule
• Resolve day-to-day site execution issues

Quality & Safety
• Ensure works are executed as per quality standards and approved procedures
• Conduct routine checks for RCC, masonry, plastering, waterproofing, and finishing works
• Ensure safety compliance and proper use of PPE at site
• Coordinate with QA/QC and safety teams during inspections

Planning & Coordination
• Plan daily and weekly work activities based on project priorities
• Coordinate with Project Manager regarding site progress, delays, and resource requirements
• Monitor subcontractor productivity and workmanship
• Support smooth coordination between civil, MEP, and finishing activities

Documentation & Reporting
• Maintain Daily Progress Reports (DPR) and site records
• Verify measurements and assist in billing activities
• Maintain records of material consumption and site activities
• Report project status and issues to the Project Manager

Requirements
• Diploma / B.E Civil Engineering
• 6–10 years experience in construction site execution
• Strong knowledge of RCC works, drawings, and site coordination
• Experience in handling subcontractors and manpower at site
• Familiarity with MS Excel, AutoCAD, and site reporting
• Ability to independently manage construction activities

• Experience in industrial/commercial/residential projects
• Billing and quantity measurement knowledge preferred
• Willingness to travel/work at project sites
