Role Description This full-time, on-site Senior Site Engineer role is based in Hyderabad. The Senior Site Engineer will oversee day-to-day site activities, including planning, supervising, and coordinating construction work to ensure adherence to design, quality, and safety standards. Responsibilities include interpreting drawings and specifications, guiding site engineers and contractors, and monitoring progress to meet project timelines and budget. The role involves conducting site inspections, implementing quality control procedures, resolving technical issues, and ensuring compliance with structural and civil engineering requirements. The Senior Site Engineer will also liaise with project managers, clients, consultants, and vendors, and prepare site reports and documentation as required.
Qualifications
- Strong on-site construction management skills, including supervision of day-to-day site activities and coordination with multiple stakeholders.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with project teams, contractors, clients, and consultants, and for preparing clear reports and documentation.
- Proven experience in quality control, including site inspections, adherence to specifications, and implementation of safety and compliance standards.
- Solid knowledge of structural engineering principles and their application in building and infrastructure projects.
- Professional experience as a civil engineer, with the ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and codes relevant to civil works.
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Civil Engineering or a related discipline from a recognized institution.
- Relevant experience in a similar senior site or construction engineering role, preferably in infrastructure or large-scale building projects.
- Proficiency with construction-related software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Office, project management tools) is an advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, solve on-site problems, and work under time and budget constraints.
