Role Description The Senior Site Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Vijayapura. The Senior Site Engineer oversees daily construction activities, including planning, executing, and monitoring work to ensure adherence to design specifications, safety standards, and project timelines. Responsibilities include coordinating with civil engineers, contractors, and site staff, supervising structural work, and implementing quality control procedures. The role involves inspecting ongoing work, resolving technical issues on site, maintaining site documentation, and reporting progress to project management. The Senior Site Engineer also supports resource allocation, ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, and promotes clear communication among all stakeholders at the project site with 5-8 years experience in BOT projects and preferably a South Indian
Qualifications
- Ability to work effectively on site, managing day-to-day field operations and site logistics.
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Experience in quality control, including inspection, testing, and adherence to construction standards.
- Knowledge of structural engineering principles and application in road and infrastructure projects.
- Background as a civil engineer, with practical experience in highway or large-scale construction projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline; advanced certifications in construction management or quality assurance are an advantage.
- Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings, technical specifications, and relevant codes.
- Familiarity with construction safety practices and local regulatory requirements.
- Ability to lead site teams, solve technical problems, and deliver work within schedule and budget constraints.
