As we expand our global presence, we are seeking a skilled Senior Site Civil Engineer to support our U.S. projects from India.
Job Summary:
GM2 Associates, Inc, is seeking a senior Civil Engineer with a strong passion for site civil land development to join our growing team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced collaborative environment where you will lead project teams and play a key role in the continued expansion of our India team. You will serve as the liaison for site civil land development projects, interacting directly with a GM2 US-based project manager and working with the civil team in India, ensuring high-quality deliverables that meet regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Function as the lead site civil engineering projects plans, specifications, and construction documents.
- Manage and lead design teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, including preparing engineering proposals to secure new opportunities.
- Collaborate with US engineering team.
- Contribute to department growth by mentoring junior staff and identifying opportunities for expansion. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers in India.
- Communicate effectively via email, virtual meetings, and project management platforms to ensure seamless collaboration.
Qualifications:
- Educational - Bachelor’s or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering
- Experience – 10-15 years of professional experience in land development permitting and design and field observation of construction activities, strong technical knowledge of stormwater management, environmental resource permitting, utility and infrastructure design.
- Technical Skills & Knowledge - Strong knowledge of US regulatory environment, including permitting processes with local, state, and federal agencies. Proficiency in relevant software e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, stormwater modeling tools.
- Project Management - Proven track record of successfully managing design teams. Experience in maintaining and growing client relationships. Preparing engineering proposals and marketing new opportunities.
