We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) Architect to lead the design, architecture, and implementation of enterprise-wide SPM solutions. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in ServiceNow SPM capabilities, enterprise portfolio management, Agile delivery, project governance, resource management, and digital transformation initiatives.
The SPM Architect will partner with business leaders, PMO organizations, Enterprise Architecture teams, Finance, Product Management, and IT leadership to establish strategic planning processes, portfolio governance frameworks, investment prioritization models, and value realization practices using the ServiceNow platform.
Responsibilities
Strategic Portfolio Management Leadership
- Lead enterprise-wide SPM transformation initiatives.
- Design scalable operating models aligned with organizational strategy.
- Define portfolio governance, demand management, investment planning, and prioritization frameworks.
- Establish portfolio health, KPI, and executive reporting mechanisms.
- Drive business value realization and strategic alignment across portfolios.
Solution Architecture
- Architect end-to-end SPM solutions leveraging ServiceNow best practices.
- Design solutions across:

- Strategic Planning Workspace
- OKR Management
- Enterprise Architecture Integration
- Define scalable architecture and governance standards.
- Ensure alignment with ServiceNow's out-of-box capabilities and platform strategy.
Business Consulting
- Conduct executive workshops and stakeholder interviews.
- Translate business objectives into technology solutions.
- Develop maturity assessments and transformation roadmaps.
- Provide strategic recommendations for PMO modernization and portfolio optimization.
- Advise customers on portfolio governance and organizational change management.
Technical Leadership
- Lead architecture design reviews and solution governance.
- Define integration architecture with:
- SAP
- Oracle
- Azure DevOps
- Jira
- Microsoft Project
- Power BI
- ERP and Financial Systems
- Oversee configuration, customization, and implementation teams.
- Ensure adherence to ServiceNow development standards and architectural principles.
Stakeholder Management
- Engage with CIOs, PMO leaders, Portfolio Managers, and Business Executives.
- Facilitate steering committee meetings and executive governance reviews.
- Present architecture decisions and solution recommendations.
- Build trusted advisor relationships with customers and leadership teams.
Technical Skills required:
ServiceNow Expertise
- 7+ years of ServiceNow platform experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow SPM implementation experience.
