About the Role :
We are looking for an experienced and skilled Senior ServiceNow Developer with 5+ years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development and implementation. The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise in at least one or more ServiceNow modules, such as CSM, HRSD, ITAM, ITOM, GRC, SecOps, or SPM.
The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, configuring, customizing, and maintaining ServiceNow solutions while working closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and clients. Strong scripting knowledge, problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills are essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, configure, and customize ServiceNow applications and modules based on business requirements.
- Work on one or more ServiceNow modules such as CSM, HRSD, ITAM, ITOM, GRC, SecOps, or SPM.
- Develop and maintain business rules, client scripts, UI policies, UI actions, script includes, workflows/flows, notifications, ACLs, and integrations.
- Perform ServiceNow configuration, customization, troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization.
- Develop reusable and scalable solutions following ServiceNow best practices.
- Work with REST/SOAP APIs and third-party integrations as required.
- Collaborate with functional consultants, business analysts, clients, and other technical teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
- Participate in application upgrades, testing, deployment, and production support activities.
- Analyze technical issues and provide effective solutions within defined timelines.
- Maintain technical documentation related to configurations, customizations, integrations, and development activities.
- Stay updated with the latest ServiceNow platform capabilities, releases, and development best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development.
- Strong experience in at least one ServiceNow module: CSM, HRSD, ITAM, ITOM, GRC, SecOps, or SPM.
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting.
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow development and customization.
- Knowledge of Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, UI Actions, ACLs, Flow Designer, Workflows, and Notifications.
- Understanding of ServiceNow integrations and APIs.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Willingness and flexibility to work across different time zones based on project/client requirements.
Good to Have :
- Exposure to ServiceNow Now Assist and AI Agents.
- Knowledge of GenAI/AI capabilities within the ServiceNow platform.
- Experience with IntegrationHub, REST/SOAP integrations, and automated testing.
- Additional ServiceNow certifications such as CSA, CIS, or other module-specific certifications.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
