We are seeking a
Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with strong experience in driving key initiatives from ideation through development to final product delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Be an integral member in the design, analysis, development, and deployment of solutions for complex business problems.
- Develop detailed test strategies and test plans for various features at both functional and system levels, leveraging AI-assisted tools for smarter test design and optimization.
- Design and enhance API test scenarios (e.g., authentication, request chaining, error handling) using AI-assisted approaches, followed by refinement and validation for production readiness.
- Collaborate closely with Developers, Program Managers, QA, and DevOps Engineers in an agile environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 6-8 years of experience as an SDET / QA Automation Engineer.
- Strong hands-on experience in API automation using Java and Rest Assured.
- Experience analyzing test logs, creating test reports, and coordinating with stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience in leveraging AI tools to generate, optimize, and validate API test scenarios, with refinement using frameworks like REST Assured along with JUnit/TestNG.
- Strong experience in test planning, test design, test strategy, and execution.
- Strong coding skills in languages such as C, C++, Java, or scripting languages like Python/Golang.
- Solid understanding of API-level testing (both manual and automation).
- Experience with API automation tools such as Rest Assured, Karate, Postman, etc.
- Good database knowledge.
- Working experience with Android Studio, Xcode, Charles Proxy/Fiddler/Burp, Android ADB.
- Experience with NoSQL databases.
- Understanding of Unix-based systems for log monitoring and shell scripting.
- Experience with API monitoring tools like Kibana, Grafana, InfluxDB, etc.
- Understanding of non-functional requirements (NFRs) such as battery consumption, data usage, and crash logging.
- Knowledge of tools like Kafka, RabbitMQ, Crashlytics.
- Experience in backend performance testing using tools like Gatling or Golang.
