Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of QA strategy and execution while remaining a hands-on individual contributor.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and guide them on automation best practices.
- Design, build, and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright or Selenium.
- Ensure automation test coverage for functional, regression, and integration testing.
- Collaborate with product, backend, and frontend teams to maintain quality across the product lifecycle.
- Set up and optimize automated testing pipelines within CI/CD workflows.
- Continuously improve QA processes for scalability and reliability.
Required Skills & Experience
- 6+ years of software testing experience with a strong focus on automation.
- Proficiency in modern programming languages such as Java or Python.
- Hands-on experience with Playwright or Selenium.
- Strong understanding of automation frameworks and QA best practices.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and test management tools such as JIRA and TestRail.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
- Proven ability to take ownership and accountability for ensuring product quality.
Good to Have
- Experience testing SaaS products or large-scale enterprise systems.
- Exposure to API testing using Postman or RestAssured.
- Familiarity with performance testing tools such as JMeter or Locust.
