Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Scrum Master Engineer based in Canada. The role involves coordinating and leading agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Responsibilities include creating and managing user stories, facilitating collaboration among team members, and ensuring adherence to project timelines. The Senior Scrum Master Engineer will also work closely with software development teams to remove impediments, track progress, and promote continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Sprint Planning and managing agile ceremonies to ensure project milestones are met
- Strong Analytical Skills and a demonstrated ability to identify and solve problems effectively
- Excellent Communication and facilitation skills to promote collaboration among team members
- Proficiency in creating, prioritizing, and managing User Stories
- Comprehensive understanding of Software Development processes and practices
- Ability to mentor and guide team members to align with agile principles
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Scrum Master certification (e.g., CSM, PSM) is preferred but not required
- Experience in leading agile teams within software development projects
