Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Senior Scrum Master Engineer located in Canada. The Senior Scrum Master Engineer will oversee sprint planning activities, facilitate agile ceremonies, and ensure the effective delivery of software projects. Responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams, aiding in the creation and refinement of user stories, and maintaining alignment between business objectives and technical solutions. The role will also require strong collaboration, problem-solving, and leadership to drive continuous improvement within the development team.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Sprint Planning and the ability to manage and organize agile project workflows effectively.
- Strong Analytical Skills to evaluate project progress, identify bottlenecks, and implement necessary improvements.
- Excellent Communication skills to facilitate team collaboration, stakeholder engagement, and transparent discussions.
- Experience in writing, refining, and managing User Stories to create clear and actionable project goals.
- Solid foundation in Software Development methodologies and practices, ideally in an agile environment.
- Demonstrated leadership in mentoring teams and driving results in complex projects.
- Proven ability to adapt to dynamic environments and foster a culture of innovation and accountability.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Relevant certifications, such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or similar, are a strong advantage.
