Hiring: Senior Scientist/ Research Associate – RNA Therapeutics & Cancer Biology
Locations: Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh / Bodh Gaya, Bihar
About the Opportunity
We are hiring for a fast-growing biotech startup building a high-impact research team focused on Cancer, Diabetes, Alzheimer’s disease, and RNA-based therapeutics (ASO, siRNA, ODN platforms).
This is a hands-on research role where scientists will drive projects end-to-end — from experimental design to translational outcomes and publication.

1. Senior Scientist
Required Qualifications
- PhD in Life Sciences / Biotechnology / Molecular Biology / Biochemistry / Pharmacology or related field
- 3+ years postdoctoral or industry R&D experience
- First-author publications in peer-reviewed international journals
- Strong expertise in RNA therapeutics / oligonucleotide drug development
Preferred
- International research exposure (US / Europe / Australia)
- Experience leading research projects or small teams
- Exposure to preclinical / IND-enabling studies
Core Expertise
- Antisense Oligonucleotides (ASO)
- siRNA & RNA interference
- Oligodeoxynucleotide (ODN) platforms
- Translational drug development workflows
2. Research Associate
Required Qualifications
- PhD / M.Tech / M.Sc in relevant Life Sciences discipline
- Minimum 2+ years hands-on research experience
- Currently active in academic or industry research
- Publication (co-authorship preferred)
Core Expertise
- Mammalian & bacterial cell culture
- Molecular biology workflows
- Experimental design & data analysis
- Interest in cancer biology & RNA therapeutics
Common Responsibilities (All Roles)
- Design & execute experiments across disease models
- Perform mammalian & bacterial cell culture
- Conduct molecular, biochemical & imaging assays
- Analyze and interpret experimental data
- Prepare manuscripts, reports & regulatory documents
- Contribute to ASO / siRNA / bEV therapeutic pipeline
Mandatory Technical Skills
Instrumentation (any 4+)
- IVIS imaging
- LC-MS / MS-MS / HRMS
- Flow cytometry
- Confocal microscopy
- TEM / SEM
- Circular Dichroism & spectroscopy
Molecular Biology Techniques
- RT-PCR / qRT-PCR
- RNA/DNA isolation
- cDNA synthesis
- Western blotting
- ELISA
- Cell viability assays (MTT)
- UV-Vis spectrophotometry
