We are looking to hire a Senior Scientific Writer (Experience with Publications and Medical Communications) with at least 7 years of working experience in pharma or a medical writing agency. It is a full-time, 100% remote work opportunity.
The responsibilities, in general, will include the following:
- Conducts literature review, develops abstracts, posters, slide sets, manuscripts, and reviews papers from various data sources, including clinical study reports, protocols, first interpretable results, etc.
- Ability to understand medical terminologies of various therapy areas and interpret and execute in developing a high-quality scientific output.
- Performs quality-control checks and proofreading of the above deliverables to meet client expectations.
- Manages multiple projects of varying complexity and across therapy areas—ability to handle pressure.
- Complies with and supports the group’s project management tool, standards, policies, and initiatives.
- Ability to handle client requirements and specifications with minimal/no supervision.
- Maintains records for all assigned projects, including archiving. Maintains audit, SOP, and training compliance.
- Trains new joiners and colleagues as and when required. Performs additional tasks as assigned.
- Demonstrate leadership qualities, be proactive, and perform well in a team.
- Ability to guide junior team members as needed.
Minimum Requirements
1. Pharm D/M.Pharma/MBBS/Ph.D./M.Sc./MD/BDS with excellent written and spoken English proficiency and at least +5 years of clinical research experience.
2. Expertise in writing publications in clinical/non-clinical/research-based work will be preferred.
3. Possesses a strong understanding of pharmacology, toxicology, immunology, oncology, etc.
4. CMPP certification will be desirable.
