Role: Senior SAP WM S/4 HANA Consultant
Exp: 8 - 15 Years
Location: Hyderabad
Employment Type: Full Time (FTE)
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Senior SAP WM Consultant with 8+ years of SAP experience and strong expertise in SAP Warehouse Management (WM), preferably with hands-on experience in S/4HANA implementation projects. The candidate will be responsible for understanding business requirements, configuring SAP WM processes, supporting integration with other SAP modules, and delivering end-to-end warehouse management solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and participate in SAP WM implementation and rollout projects on S/4HANA.
- Gather and analyse business requirements related to warehouse and inventory management.
- Perform SAP WM configuration and prepare functional specifications where required.
- Configure and support key WM processes, including:
- Inbound and outbound processes
- Goods Receipt (GR) and Goods Issue (GI)
- Putaway and picking
- Transfer Orders / Transfer Requirements
- Physical Inventory
- Stock movements and storage strategies
- Warehouse structure and storage types
- Work closely with SAP MM, SD, PP and other integrated modules to ensure seamless end-to-end processes.
- Support integration with logistics execution and related warehouse processes.
- Prepare functional design documents, test scripts and process documentation.
- Conduct unit testing, integration testing and support UAT.
- Identify and resolve configuration and production issues.
- Coordinate with technical teams for enhancements, interfaces, reports and integrations.
- Provide user training and support during implementation and post-go-live phases.
- Participate in cutover, data migration and go-live activities.
- Work with business stakeholders and project teams to ensure successful delivery.
Required Skills
- 8+ years of SAP experience, with strong hands-on experience in SAP WM.
- Strong experience in SAP S/4HANA implementation projects.
- Excellent understanding of warehouse management business processes.
- Strong SAP WM configuration and troubleshooting skills.
- Good knowledge of integration with SAP MM and SD.
- Experience with inventory management and logistics execution processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with onsite/offshore teams.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with S/4HANA Warehouse Management and migration/transition projects.
- Exposure to SAP EWM is an added advantage.
- Experience with RF/mobile warehouse processes is preferred.
- Knowledge of interfaces and integration with third-party warehouse systems is a plus.
- Experience in global implementation or rollout projects is preferred.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- SAP certification is an advantage.
